What happens if I don’t consent?
We will no longer be able to send you news and tips relating to business strategies, or notify you of new blog posts and interviews available to view on our website. We will also be unable to share news of useful tools and tech for entrepreneurs, our new courses and Techpreneur Toolkits, or the community group, and other services we are developing for entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
Why do you need my personal information?
Your information is, and will be used to contact you about free, or special offers, products; including books, webinars, workshops, courses and training, news and information, blog posts, and services; including consulting services, and information relating to entrepreneurship, software, or starting, or running a business.
If you are a client we will use the contact information you provide to us to update you regarding any work we are doing for you, or with you, to deliver our services, manage our accounts and records, and to send you invoices for payment. The information we hold about you was provided by you directly when you requested a free book from us via Facebook, or in person, or when you signed up for a free book online via our website, or landing pages. The information may also have been provided when you opted to download, or make use of our free, or paid products and services, or referred / recommended a friend to us. Paying Customers
You become a Purposeful Products client when you pay for the use of our services, and agree to our Coaching & Consulting Terms and Conditions which form a contractual agreement with us.
A copy of these is provided to all clients as soon as you confirm that you wish to do business with us.
If you are a client, (paying customer) we may gather additional information from you in order to support, coach, mentor, or provide consulting services to you. This may include:

Choosing how we contact you
We do not offer communications by SMS at the current time.
Use and storage of your data
We use 3rd party service providers; including electronic mailing systems, cloud based storage, voice and videoconferencing facilities, appointment booking software, and Customer Relationship Management Software, to help us to run our business, and to communicate with you, and provide services to you.
For example, if you book an appointment with us, you may provide your email address to an appointment booking service provider, and when you pay an invoice you may enter your details into a secure payment processing portal which manages financial transactions on our behalf.
We never sell your data, or share your data with organisations for any other reasons, and we do not store, or have access to our customers’ credit, or debit card information.
Purposeful Products does not buy mailing lists from partners, or 3rd parties.
Amending, viewing, or deleting the information we hold about you
If you would like to notify us of a change to the information that we hold about you, or wish us to update the information, you can send us an email to request this at [email protected].

Retention of your data
We will hold your data whilst you remain a client of ours, and for 3 years after.
We may continue to send communications to both clients and the people on our mailing list indefinitely, unless you unsubscribe from our mailing list, which you are free to do using the methods for opting out described in the Opting-out, marketing preferences, and withdrawing consent section above.

For example a CRM to store your email address, in our email systems when we receive emails from you, and any forms we use when you elect to join our mailing lists.
4.2 We may disclose your personal data to our insurers only insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes of obtaining or maintaining insurance coverage, managing risks, obtaining professional advice, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure.
4.3 In addition to the specific disclosures of personal data set out in this Section 4, we may disclose your personal data where such disclosure is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person. Operations & customer service
Tawk.to, Tactful - if you use the web chat functionality on our websites or landing pages, you may be asked to provide your email address so that we can respond to your query.
Zapier, Integrately.com - we may use this tool to automate and streamline our business processes and services, including the secure transfer of data between business tools and systems.
Service provision
HeySummit - when making a payment to us for an event you may enter your email address, payment information or other personal details in order to complete your payment transaction.
Tidycal - in order to book an appointment to speak with us, you may provide your name and email address in order to register your appointment, and receive confirmation of your appointment and appointment reminders.
Google Calendar, Gmail, Zoom, LiveWebinar, Zoho meeting - we may provide this tool with your name and/or email address so that you can register for a meeting, webinar or event that we are hosting, and receive reminders and notifications about the event, or so that we can communicate with you, invite you to, or remind you about a forthcoming appointment or event.
Wave, Zoho Books - in order to send you an invoice for a service that you have requested from us, we will need to add your name, company name and email address, or name, email address, and business address into this tool.
Landerapp - you may provide your email address to us in order for us to send you an item that you have registered for, to send you news or updates, or marketing or promotional materials.
Eventbrite, Eventsframe, Funzing. If you choose to register for an event run by us you may enter your name, payment information, email address and other details required in order to process your payment and register you as a guest. We may use these details to contact you about the event, and to contact you after the event which you may unsubscribe from at any time.
Marketing, advertising & analytics
Facebook pixel - an analytics service provided by Facebook, Inc. that connects data from the Facebook advertising network with actions performed on our websites, partner sites and landing pages and tracks conversions attributed to ads on Facebook, Instagram and Audience Network.
Involve.me - you may enter your email address into this tool in order to receive your quiz / survey results.
Yodel - you may choose to leave us a voice message with your name, telephone number, and/or email address so that we may respond to your query.
Mailshake - we may contact you via email using this tool where you have shown an interest in our products or services by providing us with your email address, or to make contact with other businesses.
Dubb - you may provide us with your email address if you would like us to respond to a query after watching or receiving a video communication from us.
The types of Personal Data that this website collects directly, or through third parties, includes: name, email address, IP address, usage data and device type which may be collected via TruConversion, our native website analytics tools, and Google Analytics.
5. Data Processing and international transfers of your personal data
5.1 In this Section 5, we provide information about the circumstances in which your personal data may be transferred to [countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA)].

6.5 Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section 6, we may retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

7.1 We may update this policy from time to time by publishing a new version on our website.

Wave, Zoho Books - in order to send you an invoice for a service that you have requested from us, we will need to add your name, company name and email address, or name, email address, and business address into this tool.

Yodel - you may choose to leave us a voice message with your name, telephone number, and/or email address so that we may respond to your query.
Mailshake - we may contact you via email using this tool where you have shown an interest in our products or services by providing us with your email address, or to make contact with other businesses.
